The much awaited Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone starrer Chandni Chowk To China finally hits screens across India this week. A kung-fu comedy, with Akshay Kumar playing a cook in the Chandini Chowk locality of Delhi who ends up becoming a Kung Fu expert in China.
Through a series of hilarious circumstances with Deepika Padukone in a double role, the film promises to be quite the entertainer. Directed by Nikhil Advani, the film also marks Warner Brothers' first foray into Bollywood.
After winning critical acclaim at film festivals around the world, the Angelina Jolie starrer The Changeling also opens in theatres this Friday.
The film is set in 1928 Los Angeles. The story is based on true events in 1920s Los Angeles. Jolie stars as Christine Collins, a respectable single mother who one day comes home from work to find that her little son, Walter has gone missing. The child returned to her after her son's disappearance is an impostor.
After confronting the city authorities, she is vilified as an unfit mother and branded delusional. John Malkovich also stars in this Clint Eastwood film. The film has won critical acclaim at Golden Globe awards and is also to feature in the BAFTA list of nominations.
